Our work is year-round. It requires a thoughtful, sustained effort to become educated, identify priorities, and develop strong relationships with grassroots organizers and national organizations that are on the ground. In 2026 we will continue to work in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire.

Help Recruit Candidates for PA House of Representatives: Democrats gained 13 more seats in the Virginia House of Delegates this year. How did they do it? They ran a candidate in every district, no matter how red. This not only brought out Democratic voters, but it also drained GOP money from competitive races and made Republican candidates have to defend terrible policies. 2026 is a chance for Pennsylvanians to increase the Democrats’ one-seat majority in the state House of Representatives. Write News Boosting Postcards to North Carolinians. Help combat disinformation and make sure voters in North Carolina learn how harmful the Trump/GOP agenda is for them (be sure to select NC from the list of states). Postcards, addresses, instructions are free with a minimum order of 100; you provide the stamps; you’ll start writing in January. More information and signup here.

Stand up to SNAP Cuts with Down Home NC. The cuts will jeopardize a lifeline for the more than one million households in NC who rely on SNAP. Make calls to people around the state urging them to share their story about the importance of SNAP as a lifeline for seniors, families, people with disabilities, and kids.
