Every Sunday between now and November 8 we’ll be making calls together at the Lean Left PowerHour. Show up anytime between 3 and 5 pm, then spend an hour working with other like-minded activists. If you only have one hour per week to dedicate to strengthening our democracy, PowerHours are the place for you!

Here’s how to get started:

• Review the phone banks on our Take Action page. Calls we’ll be making during PowerHours are identified with the tag “A PowerHour Action.”

• Most of our phone banks use OpenVPB to make calls. If you already have an account with OpenVPB, you’ll be ready to go on Sunday when we give you the link to start calling.

  • If you don’t have an account, you can create one by following these instructions starting with Step 2. Be sure to create your account before arriving on Sunday.

  • If you’d like help creating an account, drop in for Lean Left Office Hours on Fridays 3-4 pm, where you can talk about the phone banks, get help in choosing the one that’s right for you, and get help setting up so you’ll be ready to get right to work on Sunday.

• Once you’re ready to go, sign up for the PowerHour HERE.

  • If this is your first PowerHour, arrive 15 minutes before the hour and we’ll give you the phone bank link and provide a quick rundown of what to expect during the PowerHour
