Voter turnout in Mecklenburg County, with over 330,000 registered Democrats, is key to flipping North Carolina blue. The young new leaders of the North Carolina and Mecklenburg County Democratic parties have a plan for 2024: (1) Build statewide grassroots operations in all 100 counties, and (2) Reach every corner of Mecklenburg County, which has one of the lowest turnout rates in North Carolina. 

Our work now means supporting NC to: Keep a Democrat in the Governor’s mansion, break the Republican supermajority control of the legislature, win North Carolina for President Biden, and flip the Republicans’ most vulnerable US Senate Seat in 2026.
